5 Ways to Eat Yourself Thin

Popular belief is that the more you eat the bigger you get or the fatter you get. However, you can actually eat yourself thin by eating frequent meals; about 6 meals a day in small portions. It will still depend on the types of food you eat, preferably low calorie and protein. Below are some foods that you can eat and lose weight as you go about your business.

o Snack On Fruits
o Eat Plant Protein
o Eat Meat Too
o Vegetables To Go
o Have Trail Mix On The Trail

Snack On Fruits
Instead of snacking on cookies and candy, have a bowl of fresh fruits on your counter top, apples, oranges, plums or whatever fruits you like. This way you can make a healthy choice whenever you are hungry. If you are on the go take one fruit with you and when you are hungry instead of driving into a KFC or using the vending machine to get a snicker bar, eat your fruit. Make this a habit and the pounds will start coming off.

Eat Plant Protein
Eat plants proteins as often as is agreeable with you. Beans in any form contain a lot of protein. Black beans, kidney beans are a good source of protein and fiber and will fill you up too. This will help you reduce the calories you take in as you will be full.

Eat Meat Too
Stock up on pre cooked strips of chicken, turkey, fish fillets and shrimp. You can easily grab them from the freezer, heat them up and mix with vegetables to create a quick balanced meal in no time.

Vegetables To Go
Most people like to eat salads but a big drawback for them is the thought of picking, cutting, skinning and generally preparing the vegetables to make a meal out of it. Salad is a great source for low calorie diet and there is a way to make it easier for you. When you go to the store, buy already cut or shredded veggies, such as carrots, bell peppers, mush rooms lettuce etc. They come in resalable plastic bags for easy storage, so all you have to do is grab what you want put them all in a bowl and mix with your favorite low calorie dressing and your meal is ready.

Have Trail Mix On The Trail
Trail mix is an excellent alternative to whatever you can get when you are on the go. Together with fruits, they are things you can have on you and when you are hungry, you can easily snack on them. You can buy bags of raisins, dried apricots, almonds and all sorts of nuts and make your own trail mix. There are also a wide variety of commercial mixes out there, but they might not contain the fruits and nut mix you like, so you might be better off making your own.

The whole idea is to eat frequent small meals and indulge in healthy low calorie high fiber snack in between. Drink plenty of water and try as much as possible to keep away from soda and other high calorie drinks.
