Fruits and vegetables are foods that you know that you need to be eating on a regular basis. For many people, they fall well short of the multiple servings of each of these that you are supposed to be eating each day. Find out what you can do that will help you get more of these into your daily diet so that you can be eating healthier.

Add more vegetables to foods that you are already eating. Many people put veggies on their sandwiches or burgers to add taste. Load up on what you put on these so that you are getting more servings in. It's not bad to add extra volume of food like this since it's low calories.

Get into juicing and blending your fruits and vegetables. This is one of the easiest ways of getting food into your body like this that you need. If you do this right, you can make one drink that will give you all the fruits and vegetables that you need for the day. If you drink this, you will get what you need from this one practice alone.

Have salads with each of your meals. Even small ones will help you get more good food into your body. Make up large salads and put it into smaller containers that you can take to work. This will get you into the process of eating this good food first before eating any other types of food.

Get fruits and vegetables that you like for your snacks. Find what works for your and keep these types of foods with you. Dried fruits are very easy to take to work with you and eat during the day. Pack away cut up vegetables to snack on.

Mix more of these foods into your meals. Put fruit slices in your cereal or oatmeal. Add more veggies into your meals like your casseroles or your pizza.
