FOODS THAT CAN AFFECT YOUR BODY SHAPE AND METABOLISM

All fresh fruits and vegetables are good, aim to pile your trolley with a wide variety these goodies when you are out shopping.
Dried fruits are high in energy (kilojoules/calories)than fresh fruits per gramme.aA handful of dried fruit as snack is fine.
Chosose juices made from 100%fruit.Go easy on the quantity you drink,as it is fairly high in energy. To reduce the energy content, try try diluting your juice with half water before drinking.Add veriety and taste to your meals by varying the types of bread you eat. There are so many different types to choose from…pita, pocket, turkish, pumpernickel, sourdough, rye, soy and linseed,9-grain,fruitloaf,whole meal….etc.
Choose tasty breakfastcereals with high fibre content(i.e,3g dietry fibre per serve or more and low fat content.(i.e 3gfat per 100g or less)
Add some grains like wheat, rice, opats, barley, maize(corn, rye, millet and rictriticale to your shopping list. They can be added to soups and stews,or used to make breakfast cereals and home baked bread.
Fill up the shopping yrolley with a variety of legumes like split peas, lentils, chickpeas, red kidney beans, navy(haricot)beanmix and baked beans. If you don't have the time to soake and cook legumes,go for canned varieties or those packed in sealed vacuum bags often found in the food section of major super marts.Or for more on this visits
