The fruit also contains oxalates that can cause some problems in calcium absorption in the body. If oxalate accumulates within the body, it can solidify calcium so the body is prevented from absorbing it.

Treating constipation with prunes is can nothing else but give good results but moderation must still be observed as with any other kinds of treatments. Remember: too much of a good thing is bad.
